This machine was a huge disappointment. I bought it specifically for making Gluten-Free bread. First, this machine will only make a 2 pound loaf for white bread. So I believe there is a bit of false advertising when it states will make up to a 2 pound loaf. It should say in big letters for white bread only. Second, gluten-free bread should only rise once. This has 2 rises. The mix needs to be cleaned off the side in order for the entire loaf to cook. And lastly, gluten free bread does not need to be punched and it does punch the bread. Needless to say for me this does the opposite of what I was looking for. I returned it to the store.

Purchased it as a replacement when my Breadman died. Delay feature did not work well. Used fresh yeast and added ingredients as instructed. Resulted in a brick of bread! Works okay if I use the dough feature only and bake bread in my oven. Would not purchase this item again. Due to arthritis I can no long knead bread. So gave it two stars because it does a good job of kneading.

Love this bread maker, my only issue is that it's so light it has a tendency to rock itself off the counter. Make sure to put a rubber mat under it so it doesn't walk off the counter. Love using it.

I have been using my bread maker for 3 months. The machine is easy to use, relatively quiet operation. However, of the 7 loaves of bread I’ve made, they are always dense and difficult to eat after 2 days. I don’t think the problem is the instructions in the Cuisinart manual. I have tried other recipes and quality ingredients with the same results. I may try just using the machine for pre-baking.

I have been using bread machines for 22 years. It took 5 tries with this machine before I was happy with my bread. Following the recipe for rapid rise produced a very small brick. Following the setting 1 for white bread and going through the entire cycle produced a very hard crust 1/2 inch thick, even on the light loaf setting. But taking the paddle out at the correct time, and then stopping the machine with about 30 minutes left on the timer produces a lovely, high-rising, perfectly baked loaf. (I always add 1 Tbsp. vital gluten per loaf.). Other than timing, the machine works like a charm!

I have had a terrible time with this product. The bottom of the bread cooks too much and the top not enough no matter what the settings are. I just wish I could use it sideways for a more even bake.

My wife gave me this bread maker for Christmas and I absolutely love it!!!! I have made the French bread twice as well as the cinnamon raisin bread. Used the recipes that came with the machine and it is so easy. The French bread is great and the cinnamon needed a little tweaking, more sugar and cinnamon;) .
