The machine smelled like mechanical oil for a long time. It was really bad. Totally disappointing. It finally burned itself clean after a few weeks. Come on Cuisinart - get it right.

I love the ease of using the bread machine to mix and rise my dough. I haven’t tried baking in it yet because I have been taking it out after the last rise and baking it in the oven. No more store bought bread with preservatives at our house!
