I really like the bread maker however it has one major defect - and I already replaced it once and both have the same problem - the top part of the bread does not bake properly (does not brown) like the rest of the bread. I always end up with breads that are almost white on top. I've even tried wrapping the machine with cloth and placing small weights on the top to see if the problem came from excaping heat, but sadly it did not help. I don't know what else I can do to resolve this. It is very frustrating as otherwise, I love the machine. Silvia

Not pleased with this breadmaker. Had a Breadman for many years that produced excellent moist bread. This one makes bread way too dense even using my previous successful recipes. Unhappy.

I was a little hesitant to use this because it looked a little complicated. Boy was I wrong! This machine literally is the easiest bread maker I have ever used. I followed the instructions, pressed the buttons it said to in the recipe and out came an amazing, delicious loaf of bread!

I have never baked anything in my whole life until I bought this bread maker. I've always enjoyed home made bread from the local bakery and decided that I wanted to try when I retired. We have always been completely satisfied with every Quisinart appliance that we have bought so we had a lot of confidence that the bread maker would work perfectly and it does. I've baked 3 different breads with great success. The only thing I would change is the beeper, I can't hear it unless I'm standing at the machine when it sounds.
