I have enjoyed using the breadmaker, however, I found the directions for use less than necessary for me to have a successful experience the first time. A more detailed explanation, especially regarding the settings, would have been helpful.

The Cuisinart Compact Bread Maker is awesome! We especially like the Gluten Free selection option, and the recipe book that was included has several wonderful recipes. Because it's compact, it fits on our countertop easily, and the stainless-steel exterior is easy to clean. Great pick to make our own bread!

Having worn out our HB after many years, we wanted a durable machine with all of the programming options we were used to. This one does it all. My impression is that this has a better motor than the HB. I'm sure we have what we were looking for.

Difficult to find a reliable bread maker, but Cuisinart's Automatic Bread Maker is great. This is our 2nd one, as the first one lasted 2-3 years. We just purchased another to replace it. One issue I wish they'd fix, is a great rye bread recipe, the one in the book is too dense and not tasting like Rye.
