GREAT PURCHASE!!! This is my first bread maker, but I definitely wouldn't trade it. It takes up such little space on the countertop. All the ingredients go in and it goes to work, without interfering with anything else that may be going on in the kitchen. It really does a great job. Due to it being compact, the loafs are quite large in circumference compared to their length (which is vertical with this one). It doesn't bother me one bit. It's an easy trade vs trying to store and maneuver a full size 2-lb bread maker, which is probably much heavier and harder to utilize.

I know nothing about cooking or baking, but using the Cuisinart Bread Machine couldn't be easier. I have mastered many of the bread recipes in the Cuisinart instruction manual and from other sources. I am very satisfied with the quality and consistency of the breads that I have made and am looking forward to other recipes.

I asked for a bread maker for Christmas. I had not had one since 2000, and my step-daughters gave me this. It is remarkable. With programmed baking menus, timer controls, and bread crust selections, this is light years beyond what I was accustomed to. Yet the instructions and operating procedures are very simple. I have to add that the bread recipes included are generally excellent, although I think my own caraway seed recipe is a smidge better.

I absolutely love this bread maker! However, the reason my score is more because all the bread I make is the same shape (it would be nice if it were designed to shapeshift) and it takes hours to make a loaf. The machine does keep the bread warm and it the taste awesome for days!
