Have used it a few times, and the bread has come out ok. Specifically bought this as a second bread maker to make gluten free bread, so the gluten free cycle is handy. If I could change one thing, it would be the noise level!! Not only is the operation of the machine much louder than my other maker, but the beeping on the Cuisinart is loud and piercing. Wish I could turn it down or off!

It makes a beautiful loaf of bread! I use the bread at my bed & breakfasts so I use the bread maker quiet often. I have 3 other bread makers, but I prefer the shape of the loaf from this machine.

I have only used it twice! Once to bake the French bread in the recipe book. It was great nice crust and very tasty. The other time was to make dough for a recipe out of another cookbook. I used the dough setting and it turned out wonderful. The dough came right out and was easy to work with. Looking forward to trying more!

Shortcuts are less successful than previous models

I’ve had an “Original” large bread maker since the early 1990’s. It has Never Failed.
So, for our second home, where we don’t cook at home as much, I chose this option.
After 2 loaves, I think the order in which the ingredients are required is wrong. Competitively these loaves are dry and less enjoyable than my 20+years with my other machine. I will try to adjust and see what works. Most importantly ....the yeast is put in immediately. There should be a way to add it at the appropriate time.
Finally...the result is bread but it could be better

First machine was faulty. It rocked back and forth during kneading process and eventually rocked itself off the kitchen counter. But the company was quick to replace the faulty machine and the replacement works like a charm. It produces a perfect loaf every time.
