Love Cuisinart quality! Easy to use, & not too loud. My old one was not Cuisinart, & the bread pan would keep popping out while kneading. Cuisinart’s locks into place so this is not an issue. I have other Cuisinart products & knew it would be worth the $$

It is a great bread maker, unfortunately it is compact (so it doesn't take up too much counter space) so it makes the bread REALLY tall......my husband and I wish we had noticed this before we opened it and threw away all the boxes. It is the only negative on the machine......it cooks bread beautifully (we usually stop it from baking about 10 minutes before the allotted time because we really like our bread light). It is delicious and amazing to have fresh bread cooking with VERY little work! Love it!

I haven’t gotten a decent loaf of bread yet. I got new yeast thinking that was the problem but the bread ends up not rising properly and is to dense. May have to return.

This machine is less than half the size of the previous one by the same manufacturer. It is easy to use and makes delicious bread. My one issue is the crust comes out harder than I like. I make bread by hand and know how to get the lovely crunchy but still soft crust. I have used all the crust settings and it's still tough. Would like to find a way around that. Also, be careful with the start and stop button. It messed up my French bread cycle when i stopped it to take out the paddle. I decided not to mess with it the next time, and had to cut the paddle out of the bread.

Some recipes just don't seem to work. I was so excited to get this machine but I have to say I'm a bit disappointed in the product. It appears that the 1 1/2 # loaf recipes seem to work better. It is nice and has a small footprint which was what I was looking for. I guess I'll try more recipes and tweak as needed.
