Compact design is great. Full 2lb loaf and several features. Especially crust color and beeping to take out after last rising before baking - rather than dough using setting. Totally recommend.

I recently purchased this bread machine, which is easy to use. The bread recipes need to be improved. I find the bread does not rise as it should if using the amount of yeast recommended. So far, I've made three different recipes; the bread is dense, very nutritious but somewhat difficult to cut. To solve this, I wrap the bread in lightly moist paper towel and seal it in a plastic bag, removing only the amount of bread I intend to need for one or two days. This has worked for me beautifully. So far, I'm happy with this purchase.

As the 2020 pandemic and resultant nationwide shutdown and quarantine hit, I realized that my (former) trusty bread maker had finally become unusable and I needed to replace it. After much searching I found this little gem of a bread maker. I had ordered it in April and it didn't arrive until July. Now that our weather has cooled, I've begun using it.
I was hesitant when I first opened the package it was shipped in, as the bread baking pan was much thinner and lighter weight than what I was used to. I had doubts that this would work well for me. I've now used it to make dinner roll dough twice and to make basic white bread twice, and feel that I can give an honest review at this point.
The bread maker unit itself is lightweight and takes up very little space on my kitchen countertop. The cord is a nice length, and there is a space beneath the unit where the cord can go, so it isn't taking up more space on the countertop. My gripe about the cord storage space is that there isn't something to hold the cord in place, so once you lift the unit the cord that has been carefully wound into a loop beneath the unit falls down. That's fine if you want to use the unit and are moving it to a different spot in your homn, but if you are just cleaning the kitchen counter, it's annoying.
The instruction/cookbook is clever and informative. I do wish that the recipes in it included a basic dinner roll dough and cinnamon roll dough recipe. I elected to keep my previous bread maker's cookbook so that I have my favorite dinner roll dough and cinnamon roll dough recipes on hand as I can make them in this little unit. My family would be devastated if I were to lose that recipe, as they've deemed my dinner rolls "The Best Ever."
The second time I made dinner roll dough the dough had undissolved yeast stuck to the outside from the bread pan, where it hadn't gotten stirred into the dough during the dough making process. In looking through the instruction manual for troubleshooting tips I noticed it suggested ways to avoid this from happening. I recommend checking on your dough as the first major kneading is ending, to make sure you don't have any remaining ingredients stuck in the corners of the bread maker's pan.
The unit has selections for the darkness of the crust, and alerts you when it is time to add ingredients, if baking a bread to which you want to add things such as nuts, dried fruits, seeds, etc. It also alerts you when all the kneading is done so if you wish to bake the bread without the bread paddle in place, you can remove the dough, take out the paddle, replace the dough, and let it bake. This is ideal if you are baking something like a cinnamon swirl bread, as that is the perfect time to add the cinnamon sugar and roll up the dough before it bakes.
Overall, I give this unit 4 out of 5 stars. The cord could use a holder underneath to help keep it corralled, and the recipe book really needs to have dinner roll and cinnamon roll recipes included. I am happy that I bought it. It was affordable, it runs quieter than my former bread maker did, and it takes up much less space on my countertop. The beeps that it makes to indicate certain moments in the bread or dough making process are loud enough for me to hear across my home. This might be a drawback if you have a sleeping young one at home who is sensitive to noises.
Bottom line: I recommend this little bread maker for making dough and baking bread.
