This grill works great. Temperature control is good. Be aware that it takes some time to heat up, the lights signal when its ready. There is a good amount of space on the grill surface so it makes enough french toast in two batches so I don't have to stand there cooking while others eat. The unit overall is bigger and heavier than my previous Griddler. I did have to rearrange my cabinet space.

We had the original Griddler for many years before the thermostat went (temp just kept rising regardless of setting).
Only improvement I was looking for in a replacement model was height adjustment so this one is perfect.
Only downside to this model is the drip tray sticks out in the back, rather than tucked beneath the unit, so it takes up more counter space front to back.

a little different than my old griddler; this is much nicer and I love the tray to catch the grease and the fact that the top griddler does not need to sit on top of the meat I'm grilling; Just love this appliance.

This is my 4th Cuisinart Griddle. I bought my first griddle over 20 years ago and before it died I bought a new one and use the old one for vacation trips. My new one was not as good and had problems. I was able to return it to Cuisinart and bought my first Griddle Deluxe. I used that for over 10 years and just gave it to my grandson and bought a new one. We use the Griddle Deluxe at least 2 or 3 times a day. The Griddle Deluxe is one of my favorite small appliances. I would give it more stars if I could.

I was replacing our old Cuisinart griddler, as it was over 10 years old (still worked great!), but our family has expanded since then.
