I bought this to replace an older but similar Cuisinart model. Unfortunately, the toast doesn’t brown as evenly as the prior one and the bake temperature seems to be off by around 20 degrees. I wanted to like this as much as the last one but I don’t. It’s adequate but not great.

Replaced a toaster oven ,the same brand & model that we had for 12 years …we loved it ..used basically for toasting everyday . It had the ceramic center . This is same model ….does not toast right at all. WE have reread the instructions ..thinking we are doing something wrong . We believe that it might be the changes in the construction of this model…..?? VERY DISAPPOINTED ….

Even on the lowest setting, it burnt the toast. Still waiting on a replacement, but this seems to be a known problem that affects a lot of the toaster ovens. Cannot automatically trust that Cuisinart products will be worth the higher price.
