I have two and they both have a banging noise when it heats up and cools down. My old one never made this noise.
The dials are easy to set and use. One thing I wish it had was an automatic shutoff when using the over.

We are replacing the same model we've loved for the past 15 years. The new baking tray doesn't fit properly in either the upper or lower positions. It works better in the lower position, but doesn't allow the door to close all the way. Seems like something that should have been caught by the manufacturer. So now we need to bend the tray lip up 90 degrees with pliers and a hammer on two sides to make the thing work. Do better Cuisinart,

I was reluctant to buy a toaster/baking oven but the heat of this summer made it impossible to turn on the oven and feel comfortable. I was surprised. It is a great size, perfect for me. It heats up and cooks without warming up the entire house.
