Perfect toaster. Does what a toaster should do, toasts, bakes, broils, without all the unnecessary stuff, like air fry, Convection etc. Therefore, it is not huge, does not duplicate my oven, does not take up my whole counter space. It is.attractive and well designed, easy to use and clean, holds six toasts. It is just what I wanted and hard to find these days! And reasonably priced.

We purchased the toaster oven to replace an older model that lasted at least 14 years. It was used daily for mostly toasting but quite a bit of broiling and baking too. This model has obvious improvements and we are pleased with the purchase.

I had an older version of this which finally needed replacing. Purchased a different one and then returned it to buy this model again. This is the only one I found where you can set the browning of toast to a level and leave it there. Others have you "turning past 10 and then to the level of toast desired". That got old very quickly so I exchanged the one I had purchased for this and am very happy. I don't get aggravated at breakfast trying to figure out exactly where to set the dial. Used the broiler function to make some garlic bread - perfect!

Generally good toaster oven, with just a couple things I didn’t like: It doesn’t have an extra grill for the bake tray so you have to use the same you use for toast. My previous Cuisanart came with an extra grill that fit in the bake tray and then just easily set on top of the actual toaster grill for baking. I really loved that cause I could put it in the dishwasher and still be able to use the toaster. So Cuisanart cheapened this newer version by eliminating that. Also would improve if the dial was easier to see. Hence the 4 stars.

It works great. Toast and Bagle settings work great every day we use them today my wife roasted chicken thigs and they were great. Just as good as using the oven with a lot less heat in the house. We just love it!!

I have owned several of these toaster ovens over the years; a couple had to be replaced after a few weeks or months when an element split or fell out. The third one lasted for years, and now I can't remember why I replaced it [with a real piece of junk]. There are faults with the Cuisinart, but it is certainly the best for the money. Like others have pointed out, the control knobs are ridiculously hard to see and set. I would suggest taking a silver sharpie pen to mark the ridged line on the knobs, and a black sharpie to mark the functions on the toaster body.[Big "T" for toast, etc] I'm surprised the Cuisinart company hasn't dealt with this issue after all this time. The pull out crumb tray is great to have outside the toaster oven, and it performs quite well. I'm glad to have it in the kitchen again.
