Great toaster oven but very annoying sound when finished cooking. Sounds like a home smoke detector going off which is very startling.There is no option to enable you to silence the alarm.

The deciding factor in our having this toaster oven is that you can set the toast setting once and then each time you use it you can just push start and it will toast the same each time. Other toasters you have to turn the dial for the amount of toasting time every time you use it and it is difficult to get it the same each time. Makes it mush easier and quicker to use with better results.

It's fine and does the job. However the outside cabinet gets quite hot. I don't leave anything on top that I don't wont to get hot. A good place to warm up dinner dishes, however.

Don't rely on the video explaining all the good stuff with this Cuisinart! There is at least 1 item that is not as described: the dials are not soft, as she says. And, my older one had white markings on the dials so you could see where the temperatures are that you are trying to set.. they are no longer there.

I’m 82 and, honestly, I believe it is the best appliance I’ve ever owned! It does absolutely everything my standard sized oven does - it broils, toasts, and easily bakes cookies and casseroles. It reaches pre-heat temps much faster and probably more economically. It takes up only a small amount of counter space and its low price was amazing! I couldn’t be happier! Thank you, Cuisinart!

This toaster over worked great for the 1st 6 months, then the toaster button would not set - it keeps turning off immediately. The other day, I found that it had started itself even though it was set to off! Now I have to unplug it every time in use it. I have had many Cuisinart appliances but this one is completely disappointing...and dangerous!
