Don't recommend its not good quality

We replaced the exact model we had from over a decade ago and it has been problematic from the day we got it. It heats unevenly, the pan is warped. It overheats in one spot and underheat in the middle. The crumb tray is far worse and overall this feels so much junkier. Very disappointed, the old one lasted 10 years, this one is not going to make more than 1.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this because I am tired of the quartz tube toaster ovens that work very slowly and inconsistently. This unit has the thinner heating element we used to call a cal-rod. So far it works very well. The one thing I have to remember is that for oven, preheating is necessary. Without preheating, the rod gets very hot during the temperature ramp up and might burn the surface of the food. Toasting has been fairly consistent. Haven't done any broiling yet. It would be really nice if the knobs had a white line on them to indicate where they are pointed. The black raised spot on a black knob isn't very visible, depending on the room lighting. Let's see, where's my white paint!

Loved our first one but when it was was time to replace it the second one after a few months - almost burnt our house down. I came home from work to find it on! It had been on baking for hours. Unable to shut off unless unplugged! Now if we want to use we have to plug in each time and it only bakes now, no toasting in this toaster oven and Cruisinart not replacing or stand by their product!

I bought this as a replacement to acuisinart toaster oven that bit the dust after only a couple of years of use. That one was also a replacement for same model. I liked the way the previous models functioned so bought a third hoping it would last longer than either of the first two. I was disappointed in the changes made to the tray - no material what we tried it would not slide out easily. So we are using tray from broken one. It also toasts unevenly and takes quite a while to heat up. If this one doesn't last longer then 1st two I will not purchase another one.

We bought this toaster oven several months ago. My husband does the cooking & requested it to use in conjunction with the microwave to make foods like corn dogs/reheating pizza crispy and for garlic toast and bagels and such. I do all of the cleaning up, and this unit is a breeze to clean. Win-win!

The oven is handsome and the basic functions work well, but there are a few things that could be better. (1) There are no visible marks on the dials to show how they are set; one has to feel around for the raised ridges. A little stripe of silver model paint on the indicator ridges made them visible. (2) The baking pan is wide; it only fits in the 2 slots and so it is either very high or very low. It cannot be placed in an intermediate 3rd position on the upside down rack. Luckily the pan from our old toaster oven fits on top of the rack. (3) There is no timer for the bake, broil, and warm functions.

Love this new Toaster Oven. It works great! Very efficient and clean looking too! It gave my countertop a face-lift! I use my Toaster Oven daily and it is an important feature in my kitchen. Four stars only because there are no white markings to indicate the choice placement on the setting knobs. This oven has a raised ridge on each knob instead of a clearly marked white highlight on each knob. Hard to find in the darker corners of a kitchen or located under an overhanging cabinet. I added a dot of white-out on each knob to clearly define the choice indicator. Other than that, I love this new toaster oven. It works great!
