I love this deep fryer. It's just big enough for the 2 of us. I like how it has a lid so that you do not get oil splatter all over the counter.

I am very happy I purchased the Cuisinart compact deep fryer, it’s just the right size for 2 people, it doesn’t need too much oil which I like.

If you have the need to regularly deep fat fry, an electric fryer is a must-have to contain the mess and maintain oil temperature. This fryer is small enough to keep out on the counter between uses. The adjustable temperature gauge is pretty reliable when operating correctly. The basket is big enough to hold two drumsticks, 2-3 chicken strips, or 1-2 portions of fries, so if you are cooking for multiple people or one teenager with a big appetite, you will be working in batches.
We had our first Cuisinart compact fryer for 2 years 9 months before it stopped getting up to temperature. While that's too bad, we definitely got our money's worth in that time. After researching other compact fryer options, I decided that this model was still probably the best option out there and purchased a second one to replace the broken one.

We bought this on sale on black friday to replace a broken fryer. I like the size and it's easy to clean but, the safety cord disconnects constantly so its really hard to keep the temp consistent.
