Works fine for what I needed. Wish I had gotten the larger unit. Cons-temperature dial is not accurate. To compensate, I pre heat the oil for about 30 minutes at max (375 degrees) before adding food. Pros-love the basket and easy to clean

Definitely limited to cooking for 1 or 2. Made French Fries as 1 use. Tuned out great for homemade. Have larger fryer but hate to waste the oil. This does perfectly with 1 liter!

I sent back the first one because it wouldn't heat the oil above about 325 degrees. The second one does a little bit better...maybe 350 degrees. Good enough to go ahead and keep. I suppose it's better that one that would overheat the oil to a dangerous level.
