We ordered this because it uses less oil. The problem is that it was super poorly made (granted it was inexpensive). The clip that holds the filter in place broke immediately and the lid then came off. The second time I used it the lid fell off and I burned my hand. We just threw it away. I am ordering a small commercial one. It will cost more but no plastic.

So far, so good. Wish there was a timer on it. Stays hot a long time after turning off, wish there was better "cool touch" spots. but as for the frying, quite good to be back to normal instead of the hot-air-politically-correct approach to lousy fries!

Wife loves it. Perfect for the 2 of us. Does not take a lot of oil and does not take much space. Amazing the things you can do with it.Only thing is it only goes to 375 degrees. Would be nice if it went a bit higher.

This little fryer did a good job at frying small portions of food. This fryer is not meant for a large family but it's good for just my wife and myself. The one thing I would change is to make the oil pan removable for cleaning in the sink or dishwasher.
