The waffle maker does the job without a mess. It is relatively compact and has a removable drip tray that can go in the dishwasher (although, in my experience, the occasional drip just slides off the tray. I like my waffles to be dry and brown, which is accomplished with the 4 1/2 setting (out of 5).

Bought this after an unknown brand failed after two uses. My husband has said at least four times how much he loves this waffle maker. With the temperature dial, he can have his crispier ones, I can make my slightly less toasty ones. The nonstick is great so far. It works great and gives you delicious waffles!

I love this waffle maker! I had an expensive brand name. It lasted for years. But I found this to be just as good! Plus I love the Cuisinart brand! Have a coffee pot and mini chopper! I highly recommend!
