I used my go to waffle batter for my first batch of waffles in the flip Belgian waffle maker. They turned out perfect. I can’t wait to try some other recipes. I replaced a decades old waffle maker. What a huge improvement! Love that they included a portion cup. Highly recommended if you love a Belgian waffle.

Best Waffles I Have Ever Had!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son loves waffles, so I thought this Round Flip Belgian Waffle Maker by Cuisinart would be perfect. First let me say, this was my first experience using a waffle maker, so I am learning as I go.
The directions were easy to understand, and I was happy to see it included several waffle recipes. Before using, I wiped the plate down with a damp cloth. There are 2 indicator lights on top, one says power, and the other says ready. I plugged up the waffle maker and the power light came on, so I waited for the ready light. Once I saw the ready light, I brushed a little bit of oil on the plates of the waffle maker. Then using the cup it comes with, I poured the mix in the center as indicated, and flipped it. Unfortunately, I over filled it and waffle mix oozed out the side- rookie mistake! Thankfully, I had (what I call) the splatter plate beneath the maker. So there was no messy counter. I waited until the ready light came back on, and I knew it was done. I flipped it back, and we were ready to eat. The waffles were the best I have ever had. My son is in waffle heaven.
Today, I made some chocolate waffles, and they turned out great! I am very, very happy with this waffle maker. I would definitely recommend!!

Overall a good purchase. The waffle maker turns out some good waffles in short order. I wish the grates were removable for easier cleaning and I also wish it made an audible tone when your waffle is done. However, neither of those two features exists on this unit. When preparing your waffle you must stand there fixated on the green light at the back otherwise you run the risk of burning it black.

The waffle maker works great, waffles come out perfect. I would like to see removable grids for easy cleaning. Also would be nice if the drip tray would snap into place as it moves out of place easily.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this Waffle maker not to long ago and it's the best I've ever used this far . Comes a catch try in case you put to much batter in . Comes with a measuring cup for the perfect amount of batter each and every time . Very easy to clean actually the easiest I've ever used to clean and it's non stick which definitely helps out a lot. Adjustable temperature know the get thr perfect golden waffle. Also let's you know when the waffle is ready my the green indicator light . Best Belgian waffle maker to date .
