I wasn't a fan of Belgian waffles, but my old waffle maker was on its last legs, so I went with this one after reading a review in Wirecutter.
I have very pleased with the waffles that it produces. It heats quickly and cooks them fast. I find that the timer is a little too fast; I wait for the steam to stop coming out of the sides of the unit before flipping it back and removing the waffles.

Product works well so far. First few batches had off taste and seems to be due to lack of waffle maker being seasoned. Wish this waffle maker had a time to beep at you when done as I had burnt waffles multitasking in the kitchen a few times. I learned to figure out the estimated time it took to cook and set a timer each time. Overall good product for price.

Exactly as described! The reasons that I chose this Belgian waffle maker are: 1) has a “ready” light. 2) has a “done” light. 3) comes with a measuring cup, so you don’t ever overfill!! Also cones with removable drip pan ; ) 4) has a dial setting, so you never I overcook or undercook. And can change for other family members. 5) I started using Pam, but it’s not necessary. Waffles slide right out, clean up is quick and easy!

Our experience has been absolutely amazing. Just like those found in a hotel. The maker bakes the waffles well and is easy to clean. We’ve used it 5 times now without issue making anywhere from 2-6 waffles. Wouldn’t hesitate to purchase again. My only gripe is that the line on the measuring cup doesn’t make a full waffle. I fill up between the line and top of the cup. Sometimes a little overflow is necessary to get a complete waffle.
