First off, five stars because it is a very good waffle maker. I should have done more research, though, because our last maker (which was also Cuisinart) made belgian waffles that were almost an inch thick so they had crispy outsides and fluffy insides. This one makes waffles about 1/4 of an inch thick. They're nicely cooked and crispy outside but inside is more compact than we prefer. But if this is the size you like this will be perfect for you. Cuisinart makes great waffle makers; out other was about 10 years old before it stopped working, being used many times each week. Since they do last a long time I still may research and find a second waffle maker that makes the size we enjoy and then let a relative or friend have this one.

Delicious waffles an easy to use! It has lights to indicate when it’s ready as well as when the waffle is finished. The dial makes it easy to make waffles lighter for me and browner for my husband. Waffles were fluffy and thick.

This is a great little waffle maker! Easy to wipe clean ! Doesn't need oil each time its filled with batter. Non stick! Waffle comes out beautifully. Fill provided cup with a little less batter so it doesn't overflow close lid & flip over! That's it! Wait for green light. Flip back. And you're done! Easily lifts out with a fork. Can also add mix-ins like fruit or choc chips. I gave 4 stars because you can't leave it plugged in. It doesn't have a shut off switch.
