We have been using this waffle iron for about three weeks. Initially I greased it prior to cooking but after that, no additional grease is needed. It heats up fast and maintains heat. Waffles come out perfect. I highly recommend this appliance.

Finally had to retire our previous waffle maker (also a Cuisinart) after a decade of heavy use. My kids absolutely love the upgrade to their waffles now. This iron has deeper pockets than our last, and they come out nice and golden every time. Also a bonus that this one cooks more quickly than our last. Two thumbs up from our family!
