This machine makes fantastic yeast based waffles. Crispy on the outside and buttery smooth on the inside. I have not tried other methods such as baking soda or baking powder based waffles

It makes a perfect waffle! I use the Bisquick recipe, and it works great. My only problem is knowing how much batter to put in. The cup that comes with it doesn’t provide enough batter to cover the grids, so I’m figuring out the correct amount by trial and error - a pain, especially when I put in too much and it overflows. But when I get it right, the waffle comes out perfectly browned.

I’ve been wanting a waffle maker for a long time. Many have bad reviews and friends have told me they don’t work well or they stick, they don’t last, etc. so I was hesitant. I wanted a Belgian waffle maker. This has been fantastic. The recipes in the booklet are great, and there has been no sticking. They cook fairly quickly and it’s just a fun breakfast or any meal experience! I would recommend it highly!
