I read a lot of reviews and “best of” lists before choosing this one. I’ve used it a few times so far and it’s actually been really fun and easy to use. I was worried cleanup would be hard because making waffles can be messy, but using the pre measured scoop makes the process almost leak free. Any batter that does leak is minimal, rare, and slides right off the machine. The drip pan that comes with it has had maybe a couple little droplets on it at the end. All surfaces inside and out wipe clean very easily. The waffles cook beautifully using the different heat settings. We are super happy with this machine.

The waffle iron needs an audio notification as well as the ready light. I have to constantly watch for the ready light to turn on so it is difficult to prepare the rest of breakfast. Also, the temperature range goes up to 5 and at 4 1/2 it is still on the light side.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Exactly what I was hoping it would be! Makes a great waffle - you can adjust how light/dark and soft/crisp you want it to be, the light indicates when it's ready for use and when the waffle is done, and cleanup is easy. If you're a single person or couple, this is just perfect and I highly recommend; if you're a family, I suggest considering their larger 4-square model for added convenience.
