It’s Sunday. The day in November we “fall back.” I’ve taken my new waffle maker out of the cupboard in our “in-law’s suite” and put it on the counter in the kitchen of my daughter’s large house. The sun hasn’t decided to come up quite yet and the light in the kitchen could be better. There’s something keeping the power cord tied up in a series of loops and I can’t figure out how to undo it. Black on black. Dim light. Took me a minute, but I got ‘er done. After that everything went smooth.
I made waffles for five. Five waffles, one after the other. Each one perfect. Got rave reviews.
Set the waffle maker on 4. Big amber and green lights. Batter flows evenly over the bottom iron. Flip. Green light goes out then comes back on when the waffle’s ready. Comes right out. Beautiful brown. No sticking and breaking up. Easy to use. Excellent results.
I may do this every Sunday!
