Wanted a Belgian waffle iron and we love the flip ones we use while traveling the country so when we saw this on sale it was a must buy. Waffles come out crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside.

Bought this waffle maker as it looked sturdy and well made. It works fabulously. I previously purchased a cheep brand and it fell apart on the first use.

I love my Cuisinart round flip Belgian style waffle maker: WAF – F 30, Because it is just much better than any other brand of waffle maker add on the market today, for the following three reasons! The first of that which, is I’d like the fact it has a drip tray underneath to catch excessive batter, Second, because it has a measuring cup, to measure exactly one cup of batter for each, and every waffle and that third, it’s just exactly like the round flip Belgian style wafflemakers used in many different hotels that where a continental breakfast is served to guests, but that this design is just more compact now, because I am blind, I can only see dark and light. And so I thought I would be able to see both the power light and the ready indicator light on top. But then, unfortunately, I cannot. And so I find an accessibility issue. this does not have an audible signal to tell me that when the unit is heated up and it does not have an audible signal to tell me when my waffles are ready to be served just like it’s sister unit the WF – F 40. The other Accessibility issue, is with regards to the dial for the browning control, from Settings one to five. There should be an audible clicking sound to tell you whether you’re at number 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5.

It’s not too often I make room for a small kitchen appliance on my countertop, but I find I’m using the Belgium Waffle Maker at least once a week! I’ve only used two of the recipes from the included owners manual, but they’ve been really good. After a few attempts, I’ve learned to make waffles to my family’s liking, which is crunchy in the outside and fluffy on the inside. It only requires brushing on an extra light coating of oil (I use avocado oil) for each waffle and setting the dial to 4. The waffles are pretty evenly cooked and taste delicious and cleanup is a breeze. I happy with my purchase, and for the price point, I highly recommend this waffle maker.

The flipping was very difficult and was probably b/c the two sides did not completely close. When I called the Cuisinart # I was told I could take it back to the store where I purchased it, but I did not keep my receipt. The agent said to try cooking with it again, and if it still doesn't turn (flip) easily, I can call back to get a way to return it and get a refund.
