Overflows every time. Thank God it's easy to clean. Also, there's no signal when the waffle is done. I've overcooked several because I'm used to hearing a signal when done.

I received this as a gift from my kids to replace our old one and it works great, very easy to use. You have to play with the temperature settings to find what crisp setting you like which will also depend on how much butter is in your batter. It is pretty sensitive to the amount of batter you load and if it exceeds recommended capacity it does start spilling out dough, but that’s to be expected. I did leave it halfway turned to allow the butter that coated the outside to drip onto the spill tray underneath. I hope that either the outside is sealed or that it doesn’t matter, time will tell. So far so good and I look forward to many more delicious and crispy waffles.
