My last Belgium waffle maker literally fell apart, meaning I had to find a screw in the waffle. I decided I would go for a trusted brand and this one did not disappoint! Ready out of the box and it has 5 cook settings. We prefer a well done waffle so 5 works for us. It cooked them very fast and clean up was a breeze.

We own several waffle makers. 1 is labeled a belgian maker. This Cuisinart Belgian Waffle Maker is by far the best I've ever used. The waffles are very thick with deep pockets (my favorite type) It heats evenly and produces waffles that do not stick or spill out. Very easy to clean because of the superior non stick surface. I think the flip feature helps the process as well. It also has an intuitive timer built in. The only caution would be the stainless steel surfaces get hot. But that's to be expected. You wouldn't touch a frying pan while in use either. In my opinion this waffle maker makes the best waffles I've ever had. That's likely because of the perfect thickness to pocket ratio of the waffles.
