Unfortunately the ‘ready’ light was not working correctly. Once it turned ‘on’ it never turned ‘off’ again making it difficult to know when the waffle was ready to flip/serve
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This waffle iron cooks waffles evenly and quickly. The lights are easy to see so you know when the iron is hot. My only wish is that it also had an audible sound to indicate when the ready light comes on if you aren't right in the room.

I love this waffle maker. I got the double maker for my mom and told my fiance I wanted the same. He could not find the double maker, so this is what I got. What a great addition to our kitchen. Wish there was an easier way to clean the waffle plates - having them removable would be great.
