I've had cuisinart coffee makers for years. WhenIt was time to replace, I decided on the 14 cup programmable. The brew strength feature is one of my favorites, as I don't always want or need a full pot. It's easy to use and program, and brews a full pot quickly. My only minor complaint is that the lid to the pot is a bit tight and can be tough to get off to clean and fill the carafe.

It’s a good coffee machine however it seems cuisinart made some changes to this specific machine. I had bought the same one 5 years ago but this one has 2 major flaws. The basket for filter no longer clicks into place and the heat plate where coffee pots sits on used to be a very smooth surface. Now it’s a rough surface and every time you pull coffee pots out or place it back on heat plate you can hear it literally scratching and then see the scratches on the heat plate.
Wish the would have left things alone as the older one was much much better.

My old Cuisinart 12c coffee maker of 12yrs finally gave out. Loved it. Ordered a 14c Cuisinart and seems like I'm going to really enjoy this one also. Coffee is extra hot..love it, timer is set for 3hrs on auto. Brews great.

Is made out of more plastic,...means less durability. We like our coffee strong,...needs more grounds,...splashes on underside hot water holes. Guessing no engineering answers for that. Like the more holes in this one,..brews better. Could use deeper filter basket.

I like this coffee maker because it brews great tasting HOT coffee and keeps it hot. It is noticeably hotter than other coffee makers we have had. We bought one a couple years ago for our main home and just recently bought another one for our 2nd home. Well pleased with this coffee maker.

We received the Cuisinart 14 cup programmable several years ago as a Christmas gift. When the heater plate no longer operated, I knew I would replace it with the same one. Each week I use the programmable setting the night before to begin brewing early in the morning. The other features I really appreciate are the temperature settings for Hot, medium, or low. (I prefer hot.) Plus, a cleaning filter with the lit light when cleaning is needed. A nice feature is the tone to let me know when coffee is ready. I most likely will replace other coffee makers at cabin and TV when they expire.
