I don't use the programmable part of this coffeemaker but use it daily to make coffee that is outstanding. In our 64 years of marriage we Have never had a coffee maker that made coffee this good.

The bold button along with my coffe which I grind makes a perfect cup of coffee. It does make a lot of noise though and you have to push the “bold” button each time.
