It makes decent drip coffee. It is easy to use and customize. The bold setting is nice, as is the ability to make a smaller pot. It allows you to change how long the heater is on, to change the temp of the heater, to turn off the beeps, and to program my morning coffee. All of it has worked flawlessly. I havent used the clean setting yet but am happy that it is an option. It is big but it is a 14 cup and I am not sure how much smaller it could be and still have that capacity. It does still fit under the cupboards of my 80s home. So far a good purchase I have been happy with.

Pros: 14 cups, makes hot coffee, ability to set warming plate 0-4 hrs for auto shutoff, fairly compact, permanent gold filter included, 3 year manufacturer warranty, stylish. Cons: did shut off once immediately after brewing, drips on the counter from lid when fully opened, only two rubber feet vs four causing the coffee maker to slide whenever removing/replacing the carafe.
Overall, I’d recommend.

Makes an average cup of Joe. The "cups" in the machine are much less than an 8 oz cup. The lid to the carafe is cumbersome to use, it doesn't hinge at all and one has to be careful not to spill the coffee, also the lid pops off making it cumbersome to remove and clean. Takes up a lot of counter space, have to bring it out from under the cabinet to lift the machine lid.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that the carafe lid and overall usability have made your experience less convenient—it’s understandable that the cup measurements felt smaller. In the coffee world, a “cup” is traditionally measured as 5 oz, which is why the servings may seem smaller than an 8 oz cup. However, if you believe your unit is not functioning as it should, this coffee maker is backed by a limited warranty, and our Consumer Service team at 1-800-726-0190 is available to provide guidance or assistance if needed.
