This new model has not been nearly as good. Twice now I have had grounds come out in the coffee pot. Never had that problem before.

When using the prescribed #4 coffee filters, the Coffeemaker overflows at every brew. In order to prevent this we've begun purchasing #6 Melita filters and prop up the filter access door slightly.

We bought this coffee maker when our old one died. It was highly rated and has proven to be both reliable and to brew great coffee. It also keeps the coffee hot for up to 2 hours - without burning it.
