I have owned many of the inexpensive drip coffee machines and as an avid coffee drinker, I put them to use. The average life was 12 to 18 months. This time I decided to buy a better machine. My wife has several other Cuisinart appliances and is extremely happy with them. Most are used weekly and are over 10 years old. Still, they perform and look like new equipment. Time will tell on the drip machine but so far it makes a great cup of coffee. I highly recommend Cuisinart appliances for their construction quality, and sustainability.

Love this coffee maker. Chose this for its 14 cup capacity. This is our second one. Bought our first one over 10 years ago. It brews 1-2 times a day. When the first one quit heating, I immediately went on line and purchased another one just like it.

I have used a Keurig for the past 20 years. I stayed at an Airbnb in October and they had a Cuisinart coffee pot. It made me realize in order to get a GOOD cup of coffee, the pot was the key. No watery tasting coffee. I'm very happy with my purchase and the programmable feature is great.. Can't beat waking up to the smell of fresh brewed coffee. I'd highly recommend the Cuisinart coffee maker.

I love my previous model. This one seems more noisy and more condensation left after brewing. The coffee temperature doesn’t seem quite as hot which is a little disappointing. I’m hoping this model will last as long as my previous one.
