We have now owned six Cuisinart coffee makers since the late 1990s and all but one of them (one of the earlier models) worked flawlessly until we decided to upgrade. We disposed of the other four because poor water quality got the best of them, meaning unsightly scale build-up due to our hard water conditions that we believe also affected the coffee taste. We have always been fans of Cuisinart products, which include a toaster, pod coffee maker, coffee grinder, panini press, food processor and kitchen utensils, because of their quality, performance and durability. In our opinion one cannot go wrong selecting Cusinart products.

Like the look of the stainless and the LED display. Also like the 14 cup capacity, which is great when having guests. The programmable auto-on is a great feature to have coffee ready when you get up in the morning! This is the 3rd Cuisinart coffee maker we’ve had over the course of several years. Other brands don’t last as long with the terribly hard water that we have. The automatic notification to clean the unit is very helpful to make them last longer, too.

After much research had to purchase the 14 cup programmable Coffeemaker. It checked all the boxes and the warranty was the one point that put it over the top. I was replacing an older Cuisinart so I was just checking around but nothing compares to the quality that this company gives you. I have been using for about 1 month now and have had not one problem. No drips, works just as expected.

The "Bold" setting is always nice—allowing the water to percolate through the shower head slower for a stronger cup—especially when the coffee filter is 3/4 full to allow for a full 12-14 cup pot (prevents the water from overflowing over the filter, down into the pot).
Only 4 stars since there is no option to turn off the bright blue key backlights that light up the entire kitchen at night.
Either allow for the lights to be turned off or use a lesser LED strength.

Bought this model to replace a Cuisinart 12 cup brewer that lasted forever. This model is terrific, easy to use & program. In the past, for a vacation home, we had purchased one that was operated completely from a touchscreen, which was a pain to use. Next step is to replace that one with this!
