Makes really good coffee. I've used the cheaper coffee makers and mu Cuisinart just puts out a consistently good brew. Be sure to change the filters as indicated in the instructions.

Sometimes the coffee is cloudy when you use the provided basket. Definitely have to use filters if you like your coffee to be transparent-ish. The lid is a little bit awkward on the pot. It pops off and on like a Cool whip container lid.
If you use filters it does make a great cup of coffee.

I stepped up a bit to try this coffee maker and I am so glad I did. Love the ease of setting it up (for the early morning cup of coffee) and easy to read screen. It is a breeze to set up and get to brewing! I look forward to a lot of cups of coffee!!
