I bought this product about a month ago. I looks sharp, has all the necessary settings, and makes coffee. But compared to previous models I have had over the last 25 years I find the fit and finish inferior. This is especially true of the carafe. The plastic seal on the opening does captures liquid. When the carafe is washed that liquid continues to drain back into and to the outside of the carafe. It makes drying the carafe unnecessarily tedious and often leaves coffee stains on the inside of the carafe. I seriously doubt I will buy another.

I love my new Cuisinart copper coffee maker. I always buy Cuisinart coffee makers. This one looks beautiful in my kitchen with all my copper accents. The only thing I noticed is sometimes the when I pour the coffee it comes out the top little holes and makes a mess on the counter.

Carafe leaks no matter how fast or slow you pour the coffee (and the water when you fill up the tank). We got a new carafe and, while it’s better, still leak every single time we make coffee. The older version we had before was much better.
