I bought this coffee maker after my <3-year old one (different brand) died. I chose it for the 3-year warranty (most offer one year) and the 14-cup capacity. My husband no longer feels that he has to add extra water to make enough. I like that we can set heat to low to avoid getting a “burned” taste. This is a great carafe that doesn’t dribble on the counter when pouring my first cup. It makes a great cup of coffee and looks great, too.

The spout modification on this model is heads and shoulders above my previous model. It does not drip on the cabinet after pouring. The water level indicator is bigger and better. I also like the auto shutoff.
