Our last Cuisinart coffee pot lasted about 9 years. We have very hard water where we live and didn’t do much to preserve it - so I’m surprised at the longevity of the product. When it took its last drip, we opted for a quick substitute of a cheaper brand to get by - big mistake. Coffee quality was poor and took longer to brew. We immediately came back to Cuisinart and have been happily enjoying our morning brew at the same quality as our old one. Very happy to have our good coffee back!

Great addition to our coffee mornings except it doesn't have a timeable hot plate. When the coffee maker goes off after an hour or so, you have to touch the button again and if there is water anywhere in the reservoir it thinks its brewing again.

We bought this for the glass carafe. When washed, the carafe gets water under the rim that drips to th inside and the outside of the carafe. We prefer the paper filters so we don't have grounds sludge (personal preference) in our pot but sometimes the filter fills with water, so the grounds don't produce all the expected flavor. We think this is something that we will figure out.

This is our 3rd 14-cup Cuisinart after a string of about 5 or 6 12-cup ones. After my first purchase of the Cuisinart coffee-maker years-and-years ago, I was committed to your product. I love the fact that I can still mix my own combination of beans, grind them, and brew much more flavorful coffee than that instant generic coffee you get with those K-cups.
