[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use to buy only “Krupps” Coffee Pots. But since I’ve taken a chance and bought a Cuisinart I’ve loved it and never went back to Krupp’s. It’s easy to use, fast and the coffee is delicious. The features are great; from being programmable, temperature setting, water level window. This 14 cup coffee pot has it all!

Like the coffeemaker...the lights not so much

This pot replaced one that was five years old and had started leaking. The coffeemaker itself doesn't disappoint but the little row of lights indicating that it is on and in use is overkill to the point of being annoying. This is not a car. It's a coffeemaker. Nobody sees it but us, and an occasional guest or two. I used black electricians tape to cover all but one little light. The only reason we need any light at all is so we know if it automatically shuts itself off.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I’ve had the old model of this for years. Have replaced it 3x in 10 years. Got my money worth. Bought this one and honestly gave it a 2 month whirl. The coffee tasted horrible. I believe that the water wasn’t getting hot enough. I took it back to bed bath and beyond and got the cheaper old model and it’s just amazing like I was used to hot coffee!!
