I like the features of this coffee maker, and feel like it makes a good cup o joe. The only things I wish were different was a larger space to pour the water into the reservoir; with the width of the carafe, it is tough to get the pouring angle right. If you're considering this one, go with one with a removable reservoir instead.

This replaced our old red 12-cup Cuisinart which we'd had for years, but was shorted out during a lightning storm. This new 14-cup is excellent. The controls have been improved over the previous model. Much easier to read the labels. Easy to set the brew timer and the clock. No complaints. Well, just one: we couldn't replace the red color, but the stainless steel is fine.

Been using a French press for years, but bold setting on this unit gives similar flavor. Programmable allows waking up to great coffee. Has the first keep hot function that doesn't burn the coffee, even after 3 hours.

This is my third cuisinart 14 cup coffee maker over the past 15 years or so. While I would like these to maybe last longer, the quality of the coffee made can’t be beat.
The fact that we need a 14 cup coffeemaker in a household with two coffee drinkers may reflect poorly in my need for this liquid gold, but not just any coffee will do.
