This coffeemaker is easy to program and easy to clean. We use 1/2 regular coffee and 1/2 decaf every morning and it makes good coffee without an aftertaste.

The Carafe needs redesign:
- the numbers are too small,
- does not empty completely into the machine (the machine lid gets in the way);
- the lid must be taken on and off each time, a hinge would be much better

This was a replacement for the same model that stopped working after about 3 years. Although I am disappointed that it only lasted 3 years it does make a reliably good pot of coffee time after time. I'm hoping it will last longer than 3 years.
