My new 14 Cup Programable Cuisinart makes loud popping sounds when brewing. Not a pleasant sound to wake up to. The company tells me this is normal for this machine. Not impressed and wishing I had saved money with Mr Coffee or Black and Decker.

I love the size, design and performance of this coffee maker. This is the second I’ve had. I only replaced the first one because of one slight defect. The burner coating started peeling off after 3 years of use. It still worked, but I did not like the look of the burner. So that’s my only complaint. Gave the old one to a friend who also likes it a lot.

The Cuisinart DCC-3200 is a beautiful coffee maker that’s easy to setup. Just read the easy to understand instructions manual that comes with it. It brews an excellent, hot cup of coffee whether it’s for 1 of up to 14. Each cup portion is just 5 ozs. (small cup) so keep that in mind. A full 14 cup pot will yield about 8-9 mug size servings. It takes a little longer to brew coffee in this machine which is a plus because the water is extracting all the oils and flavors from the grounds for a smooth, rich and satisfying cup of coffee. This is a quality built coffee machine that should last for years.

I have been buying this model of Cuisinart coffee maker for at least the past 20 years. I just bought my 4th one and I do not understand what happened to the quality. The plastic is now so cheaply made. It is different than before. Even the coffee scoop is different. The machine is oddly lightweight. The coffee doesn't taste as good. I am very disappointed that I did not seek out another brand before buying. Obviously they are trying to save costs but at the expense of quality

“Thank you for sharing your long‑time experience with us—we truly appreciate your loyalty over the past 20 years and are sorry to hear the newest model doesn’t feel as durable or perform the way your previous units did. In some cases, lighter‑weight components or changes in plastic texture can still perform reliably, and our team can help check brew temperature, water flow, and filter placement to ensure the coffee tastes as intended. We’d be happy to walk through additional troubleshooting or explore support options to help restore your brewing experience, so please contact our Consumer Assistance Center at 1‑800‑726‑0190 and reference ticket number TICKET #8900570222. We appreciate your feedback and the opportunity to address your concerns.”

I received my new Cuisinart Coffee Maker in a timely manner, did the prep as instructed, filled it with water & plugged it in. When I came back into the kitchen, all the water had drained out of the tank, none went into the carafe. My long history with Cuisinart Coffee Maker's only seem to last less than a year. The burner usually starts getting tarnished and the Coffee brewing keeps getting longer and clogging up, even after very carefully measuring and doing my clean outs. I switched to a KitchenAid and hopefully my dollar goes further & can have an enjoyable cup of coffee now. Cuisinart it's time to step up!

Thank you for sharing your experience, and we’re glad to hear your return process was hassle‑free. We’re sorry to hear about the water flow issue and long‑term performance concerns; issues like this can sometimes be related to reservoir seating, mineral buildup, or internal flow restrictions despite proper cleaning. Thank you for your feedback, as it helps us identify opportunities for improvements in future models.

Was questioning the thought of purchasing an older type coffee provider unit when it seems everyone else was into single serving dispensers. Did some thinking on whether the quality of the brew would be comparable, would the temperature be adequate, would it taste as good. Well, to say this unit is not the same in any way to the units we’ve previously owned is an accurate description. Cuisinart has upgraded and beat out other manufacturers in all capacities. Coffee is hot, it has great flavour, it brews quickly and it beats out the single serve competitors on cost per cup every time. We drink a few cups each morning and the economics of using this unit are hands down a home run. Highly recommended this unit.
