This is a warranty replacement for my first coffee maker that started to leak after a year. Customer service was great overall and I received my replacement quickly. The light on the brew button does not work on the new coffee maker. It's minor enough that I probably won't go through the hassle of returning it, but it is annoying to not know if the coffee maker is on or off. I gave it a low rating due to the poor quality.

The ready/auto-off alarm is very loud. Can be heard throughout the house. It can be turned off or on though. I really like the “bold” option button. Perfect for my coffee needs

Two odd things about this product I wish I had noticed before purchase: 1- the lid on the carafe is cheap plastic and comes all the way off instead of just hinging. I can’t imagine that the lid will last very long. I think eventually the plastic will wear out and not clip into place the way it’s supposed to. 2- the top of the machine opens up to 90 degrees with a hinge at the back. I didn’t realize when I purchased this just how difficult that would make pouring in the measured water. You either have to pour it from high above the machine and hope you don’t make a mess, or slightly over fill the carafe knowing that you won’t be able to get all the water into the reservoir.
Kind of seems to me like this coffee maker was designed by people who never actually make coffee.
