Our old cuisinart quit about a year ago. Bought another brand and trashed it after a year because although it looked similar to a cuisinart is wasn’t and couldn’t compare in reliability. Love the two extra cups and all the features.
This coffeemaker is mostly easy to use and produces consistent quality brewed coffee. While pouring water into the tank is not easy, it is not hard to do once you get use to it. The alarm signaling that the heat to the pot is turning off is a fairly soft chirp, so can be easily missed. I did not hear it for three days, but on the fourth day I was in the same room and the house was quiet. I would highly recommend this coffeemaker otherwise.
We used the 10 cup brew station for (just shy of) ten years before it stopped performing, although it was warranty replaced after 4 years. Longevity and customer service were the top two reasons we decided to buy another Cuisinart appliance. The only issue we had with the brew station was the awkward full- you pretty much needed a step stool and a flashlight to accurately fill the reservoir. With this 14 cup appliance, they added a window onto the side of the machine which makes filling it so much easier. After about a month, my family is pleased with our investment.
I bought this coffee maker to replace my Mr. Coffee which was leaking. I've only had it a month, but so far this has been a great improvement. Ths carafe is very sturdy. It brews quickly ... I make 8 cups each morning and set the programmable timer and its ready when i wake up. A pot brews in about 10-15 minutes which is great. I also love the reusable filter basket. All in all a quality machine.
Purchased this coffee maker to replace a older Cuisinart coffee maker that had given great service. It is an updated version that does a great job. No complaints.
