We have had nothing but issues with our Cuisinart coffee maker. Our first one died after not even two years. We would pour the water in the reservoir and it leaked out the back. Fortunately is was warranted and we got a new one about two months ago. Now the coffee pot stops while brewing then starts up again. I know this one is going to have the same fate as our first one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We are enjoying this coffee maker. We love the feature that makes the coffee hotter than normal. We also enjoy receiving a tone to let us know it’s finished making our coffee. One draw back is that it makes a popping sound when it’s left on to keep

I also like being able to set the warming plate to keep the coffee hot, not just warm. This coffee maker makes a full bodied, rich cup of coffee. Highly recommend.

We've purchased this item 4 times. One originally for our home- got zapped in a power surge and replaced it; one for our RV, which is still in excellent condition and works great; and a replacement for the one that we replaced in the power surge. We had to purchase this last one as the hot plate started to rust and get crunchy. I believe that this was our fault as we did not make sure that the carafe was not dry when turning on. We really have been impressed with this item, and that's why we continue to purchase the same item. It is large enough for us and works well. Love the features of automatic turn off, set to 3 hours and able to preset to turn on early in the morning.

Up to 14 cups, evenly spread hot water drip for the best flavor, multi level heat pad with self shut off timer, easy to use functionality buttons, it's simple to program the self brew timer making mornings a breeze... this machine is perfect. We always have coffee brewing between all the drinkers in our house so this was definitely worth the cost. I HIGHLY recommend this Coffee Maker!
