What's not to love? Like your coffee piping hot...or not? You choose the level of carafe heat. Getting up early and having to make the coffee not your style? Program your Cuisinart the night before and wake up to brew for you! Want to know when it's ready and waiting? Use the built in signal...or, afraid of waking the little ones before your alone time is over? Turn it off. Water need a little filtering? Of course... Only want a couple of cups and still want the perfect strength? Use the 1-4 cup setting... Hate wasting paper filters? Use the gold filter!

Disappointed in this Cuisinart coffee maker. Makes a lot of noise after the coffee is made. Sounds like steam/gurgling. I've taken the port apart, reset the wobbly filter (our last cuisinart coffe maker had no issues, we just decided to get a newer model. Also the carafe pouring spout is too wide. If you make a full pot of coffee, it invariably spills out on the counter during the firts pour.

Finally, hot coffee! Three burner settings keeps coffee hot! The lid keeps condensation from escaping which keeps the coffee tasting fresh longer. Large capacity, although 14 doesn't mean 14 in our house! lol! It's more like 6 full mugs but that's fine with us.

This is the second time I have purchased this coffee maker. We loved our first one, but when we evacuated early in the morning of the Camp Fire in Paradise, CA, we left coffee and grounds in the pot. When we were finally allowed back, 5 weeks later, mold had spread everywhere, and I threw it out. During our displacement, we purchased a basic Mr Coffee, and made do, though the coffee was always a disappointment. Finally, I have replaced it with our previous favorite, and we find the coffee consistently full of flavor. I will say that we always slide it out from under the cabinet when we make coffee, due to the final blast of steam it makes.
