We had this first model 6 1/2 years ago, used daily once or twice during that entire time with no problems, then no longer working as we had expected, we have no complaints about the durability. Certainly comes highly recommend to both friends and family.

I have bought four of these over the years for two different houses. They work very well for me with paper filter. I used to make French Roast Coffee, and now make French Roast Decaf. I usually make 4-6 cups at a time using both the Bold and "1-4 cups" settings. Always comes out delicious.

Bought this 14 cup as a replacement for our 12 cup that lasted us a long time. Still a great coffee maker but does occasionally drip when you are pouring the water into the reservoir even if you go slowly. It’s almost like the lid needs to open up just a tiny bit farther and it would never happen. Still a great machine!

It makes excellent coffee. There is only one very small drawback… the graduation scale for adding water is located on the right side of the coffee maker. This makes pouring the water with your right hand difficult. My old Cuisinart had water windows on both sides of the water tank.
