We upgraded from a 12 cup to 14 cup. We programed the coffee to startup at 6:30 am. We followed the instructions, and once we became accustomed to these settings, we are all set to enjoy our morning coffee!

The filter that holds the grounds has maximum of 15 TB, according to the user manual, and that is accurate in real life. But-- Standard coffee grounds call for 2 rounded TB per cup of coffee. So I typically would use a LOT more ground beans to make 14 cups than the filter will hold. If I make a full pot, it is super weak coffee, or I can make only a half a pot full strength. VERY unhappy it is billed as a 14 cup coffeemaker, when it won't hold the coffee grounds needed to make 14 cups of coffee. My previous coffeemaker (Mr. Coffee brand) had a much larger filter, and was a 12-cup pot. I got this new one specifically because it was supposed to make 2 more cups of coffee. But it doesn't. I cannot stress stress enough how unhappy I am about this.

Carafe does not easily slide under drip mechanism. Insert drip holder lees then “fit” allowed otherwise very hard to place carafe on burner under drip stream. Rather disappointed. I just replaced an older version that worked better
