This is my 3rd Cuisinart coffee maker and my 2nd of this model. Even though my last coffee maker of this model only last 3 and 1/2 years I still am drawn back to this model due to options and quality of the coffee that is makes. I do get questions about why not use a different brand that is proven to not expire in a few years but I always have to revert to the quality of the coffee that is brewed in this model. I like the brewing options and the overall design of the maker. Just as a heads up the failure my first maker experience was associated with the heating element for the pot. It appeared that the sensor to turn the pot heating element off failed to do so and it burnt itself up. I know this optimum heating feature is something that Cuisinart is proud of and it does work extremely well except the short than expected product life. I still love this coffee maker and will continue to buy one unless the product life gets even shorter.

Works like it's supposed to, nothing negative to say. The warmer plate works extremely well, keeps the coffee hot like I like it. The gold filter works well, eliminates need for paper filters.

Great coffee pot we bought as a replacement for our Cuisinart coffee pot with no measuring window on the outside of the pot. We would like a credit to our account as there was no window for measuring on the 14 cup pot we had. It was only 1 month old.

Capable and attractive Automatic Coffeemaker

I found the beep, when the coffee was ready, to be almost inaudible. Also, programming the clock settings was very difficult. The visible water level markings are very helpful. The coffee is very good once you get a fine enough coffee grind. My previous coffee maker was a Krup that had a built-in grinder, so i never had to worry about the coarse/fine issue. Now, I use hand grinder just before making the coffee, to assure that the flavor is good. It is nice that this machine can handle a wide range of cups, from one to 14.
